This is a custom designed heavy duty automatic transmission that was specially designed to mate to all of the TDR Allison V-12 engines. This Tranny is designed to lower the centerline of the driveshaft down to a height that is more compatable with automotive applications.
This tranny is also designed so the modeler can choose to use the tail piece when they desire to use a driveshaft in their model or they can leave the tail piece off and the transmission will directly mate up with the TDR 11 inch rear end.

Like all TDR Innovations products, this kit is CAD designed and Rapid Prototype produced. Our CAD design team spent a lot of time ensuring that this engine kit is accuratly detailed.
Depending on the builders preferance, some smoothing may be required. Fittings are not included but the parts are designed with bolt holes included. These holes may need to be drilled or reamed prior to installation of fittings.
